I liked this one. I pick your sessions at random to give one a go. This is my favourite one. Adriene (yoga with adriene) introduced me to the concept of eyes on the sole of the feet. I did this video yesterday (https://youtu.be/GAnKh5kKpgA?si=hfV4VTyYpstIuk4K) and that was interesting too. Feeling the feet with eyes closed and trusting the body. I do not trust my body (due to cfs for the past twenty years) and I'm enjoying the process of learning how to. I used to have a very strong relationship with my body - necessary for horseriding, swimming and martial arts. Becoming one with the horse and being safe on particularly flighty /jumpy horses (this one time in the middle of a sudden storm - was wild and amazing!) required a lot of trust in my balance and concentration. Learning to fall well in training did too. I'm getting back there. Thank you for this. I'm glad I got to experience it.
One of my meditation teachers (Will Johnson) always emphasises that the sitting posture is a way to feel both gravity and its rebound---provided you can relax and surrender enough. In somatic meditation we say tension is the way ego reinforces itself against the flow of life, similar to the quote you shared. I have sent this post on to my mum, who is a Pisces and loves everything to do with foot health :)

Thanks Karina. Glad you liked it. I'm off to Koln later in the week for another workshop with Nita. Really looking forward to working with her again.
Have fun!

Thanks for this. (And for forwarding the piece on.) That's an interesting perspective on sitting posture. I'll look out for Will's work.
Forgot to mention that Will is a Rolfer :)
